Hedsor House Wedding Videographer

This wedding was all about the party! There was great music throughout, from the strings and soloist during the church ceremony to live music in the reception, a singer before dinner and live band in the evening, and everyone was dancing their socks off. It was lovely to work with familiar faces, like wedding photographer Andy Griffin, wedding band the London Function Band and magician Andy Jamieson (aka Andy Magicman). And of course it was a special treat being back at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire, one of my favourite venues.

Kate and Jack knew how to have fun and they were definitely living for the moment. The morning bride preps at Hedsor House started the day on an emotional note, as the girls were all crying as letters were read out, and it was lucky that the make-up artists (Chloe Grace Bridal Make-up and Louisa Jayne Make-up) were on hand to handle repairs! You get some great window light at Hedsor, and some of my favourite shots are of the bridesmaids trying unsuccessfully to hold back their tears. And then more tears when they saw Kate in her absolutely stunning wedding dress by Berta Privée.

The next emotional rush was Jack seeing Kate coming down the aisle, and I do love a groom who lets himself be fully present in this moment. After the ceremony, the couple got into the party mood, first with an epic confetti tunnel, and then back at the venue with drinks and music. The couple had been so thoughtful, writing little poems to all their guests, which you can see in the film – a tiny envelope for everyone to take, displayed on a big board surrounded by flowers. Very touching!

The musicians absolutely smashed it. Seeing so many people smiling, on their feet and dancing away was priceless. The London Function Band are always fabulous performers, and it’s great when they interact with the guests. This was definitely a lively crowd and exactly the sort of atmosphere that they appreciated. I could go on and on about this wedding, but hey – just watch the film 🙂
