Ready for Halloween? 🎃🦇👻 Almost a year since N&B’s fabulously spooky Halloween wedding, and I thought it would be fun to show the original raw footage of their wedding video, compared to the final film.You’ll see the videographer and photographer removed from shots, plus animations, AI elements and special effects, along with the usual colour grading and image correction. This edit was bonkers, especially the end credits sequences 👀🤓 Tech stuff: where there’s slow-mo, it’s also shown in the original footage, so the timings match. When a clip is played backwards in the final film, the original is played forwards.
🛠️ Tools: Premiere Pro Beta for editing and masking effects, Photoshop Beta for generative fill, Topaz for extreme slow-mo, Midjourney for object and scene creation and Runway Gen-2 for a handful of animations.
🎥 Cameras: Mainly Sony A7S3 with 35mm 1.4 / 85mm 1.8 lenses, shooting in SLOG3, UHD 50p and 16:9 for 2.35:1 delivery (crop marks in camera). This was a solo shoot. Any tech questions, fire away 💥

Took a risk with this one, ending on a freeze frame for the first time ever! I was a big fan of the Breakfast Club growing up, so maybe that ending shot was in my mind during the edit. It makes sense in the film, coz they're in a photo booth :)J&E were married in Emily's family home @priory_hall_wedding_venue which was perfect, and when you're lucky enough to get married where you grew up, I'm sure the day feels even more special 😍 Lovely working with fabulous photographer @katiedrouet for the first time.
