Fulham Palace, London
Harriet & Scott had their ceremony and reception at the same church and venue as my good friend James, so it felt great getting back to Fulham Palace, one of London’s most gorgeous luxury wedding venues. I’ve filmed there a few times now and it’s got a great mix of grandeur and intimacy – and squirrels!
The day started off for me at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, which has a good mix of grandeur and relaxed vibes – you really can forget about the world and relax, which is perfect for bride preps, as that can be a stressful time of the day. On this occasion, the atmosphere was idyllic, peaceful and you could easily forget that you’re in the heart of London.
This day had bagpipes, a singer and guitarist in the reception and then a live band in the evening, plus an amazing choir during the ceremony, which you can hear in the film. Music definitely played a big part in the day and gave me a hint as to the couple’s style.
Loved working with Amy, who’s a very talented and kind photographer, great team player! Special mention to Studio Sorores for the lovely flowers – they always do a fab job and are a genuinely awesome team. Just the best day, perfect weather, yay!
