Wedding Videographer in Hertfordshire
Pretty in White is a bespoke wedding video company based in London and Suffolk, but I grew up in North Hertfordshire, in a village called Ashwell, near Royston.
Herts is a handy location for weddings, being so close to London but also offering a vast choice of cool wedding venues with stunning scenic backdrops. Itβs also easy for me to get to, so I find myself filming there often. I love it! If you’re looking for a Hertfordshire wedding video, I’d love to chat.
Hertfordshire has rolling countryside, historic manor houses, and charming farms, hotels and beautiful old churches, so no matter what style suits your big day, youβll find a wedding location thatβs perfect for you.

Golfers are spoiled for choice. Golf course wedding venues include The Grove near Watford, which is super luxurious with all the features and comforts of a 5 star retreat, offering an enticing mix of contemporary style and natural beauty. Youβve got the spa, golf course, and space for a very big wedding with a guest capacity of over 400. Brocket Hall has a really pretty lake by the main house which is perfect for fireworks, as theyβre reflected in the water and the effect is amazing. Hanbury Manor brings history and elegance to any wedding, with immaculate gardens and impressive architecture for a timeless appeal.
Sopwell House and Hatfield House are grand, opulent locations with gorgeous gardens, whilst South Farm and Fanhams Hall are perfect is you prefer a countryside feel. Micklefield Hall has a little bit of everything, with a serene atmosphere, carefully maintained gardens, plenty of space for guests in the barn and one of the prettiest spots for an outdoor ceremony. Here’s a Micklefield Hall wedding video.
Ashridge House is honestly breathtaking, with its magnificent faΓ§ade, just an unforgettable backdrop for a high end wedding video, or for that matter a Hollywood film (which is why itβs so popular with TV and movie producers!). If you prefer something more laid back, check out Tewinbury Farm or, one of my favourite wedding venues, Coltsfoot Country Retreat.
And as I mentioned above, one of the coolest spots to film a laid-back natural wedding is Home Farm Glamping in Elstree, which is basically a field with tipis, sure, but the location, tranquillity and scenery make it something really special. And the staff are super nice! So if youβre after an alternative, chilled outdoorsy setting for your wedding, a stoneβs throw from London, you can’t beat Home Farm Glamping. Itβs just a lovely spot for a perfectly relaxed wedding. Plus, it will no doubt be easy to get to for many of your guests. Here’s a Home Farm Glamping wedding video, one of my faves!
Each of these venues have their own unique character, and my goal as your videographer is to capture this, alongside your personal story and all the fun stuff that you might not even notice on the day. I aim to create sumptuous wedding films that reflect you, your venue, and all the unique moments of your big day.
