Wedding Videographer in Essex
Pretty in White is a luxury wedding video company based in London and Suffolk, so with Essex in between the two, I get to film there often.
Essex has a lot to offer in terms of wedding venues, and itβs easy to get to from London, so is well suited to couples who live in the city or who have many guests who do. In my experience filming weddings in Essex over the years, Iβve found there’s something unique about the blend of cosmopolitan glamour and country homeliness that makes for a great atmosphere on the day.
Iβve had the pleasure of telling so many fun, moving, powerful stories from Essex and itβs handy when the venue is only an hour or two away, in the neighbouring county. If you need an Essex wedding video, I’d love to hear from you.
Essex has idyllic venues that all bring something unique to the table, and my goal is to capture their individual character along with the essence of your big day.

Essex wedding venues
Gosfield Hall
Gosfield Hall is the perfect mix of intimacy and grandeur, set in beautiful grounds which help guests relax and set the scene for a breathtaking wedding film. With its stunning views and spectacular Grand Salon, every inch of this wedding venue is ripe with opportunities for cool and interesting footage. Thereβs something special about a ceremony here, as youβre surrounded by history, without ever feeling stifled. The staff are all lovely too, which helps put a smile on everyoneβs faces. Here’s a wedding video I filmed at Gosfield Hall.
Parklands Quendon
Parklands Quendon Hall offers a tranquil, picturesque setting, with gorgeous views and plenty of space for larger weddings. There are so many deer on the grounds, which guests always love, and you really feel like youβre in your own special world surrounded by nature and away from civilisation. A family-run venue that’s lovingly cared for, its intimacy and friendly vibe provides a fab location for guests to let their hair down, and gives me the opportunity to capture plenty of funny, moving and spontaneous moments. You can check out a Parklands Quendon Hall wedding video here.
Baddow park house
Baddow Park House is one of my favourite Essex wedding venues, with so much variety in a gorgeous, intimate setting. You can easily explore the grounds and we can capture different types of shots without lots of walking (or more importantly without spending time getting around!). The blend of elegant period features with contemporary dining space and clever layout gives it a unique charm, and its woodland setting makes for some wonderful natural cinematography. Here’s a Baddow Park House wedding video.
Boreham House is a grand stately home with a large capacity, thanks to the marquee in the rear gardens. The driveway is really impressive, as you approach alongside the mirrored lake, and the house itself is gorgeous. If your guest list is extensive, this is the perfect Essex wedding venue. Here’s a Boreham House wedding teaser.
other venues
Botleys Mansion, an elegant 18th-century country house, and Gaynes Park, a stylish barn venue, both offer a tasteful fusion of old-world charm with a modern twist. Both very popular and deservedly so. Braxted Park, with its historic manor house and beautiful walled garden, and The Lawn, an elegant Georgian manor nestled in a stunning landscape, offer ample opportunities for romance, partying and awesome shots.
Houchins is a unique venue with a great reputation and rich history, offering a pretty grade 2 listed farmhouse for staying over and gorgeous landscaped gardens. Itβs intimate but luxurious, with a really great ambience. Blake Hall is another favourite wedding venue where rustic charm meets modern luxury, with amazing staff, great light and capacity for 150 seated guests. These barn-style wedding venues are perfect for capturing natural, intimate moments in a relaxed and unpretentious setting, while the surrounding nature provides a fresh and vibrant backdrop for stunning shots. Or you may even fancy getting married in a field! Here’s one of my favourite Essex wedding videos – luckily the weather was perfect.
All these idyllic Essex venues bring something unique to the table, and my goal is to capture their individual character along with the essence of your big day.
